Sinaron Digital lenses are manufactured by Rodenstock, same as Rodenstock Apo Sironar Digital (magenta ring) and Digaron HR (blue ring) lenses.

Other than different naming, it is believed that similar to Linhof, Sinar has rigourous selection process, only the best lenses were chosen.

This lens has a generous image circle of 125mm, great sharpness performance only to be bettered by the latest yellow ring SW, but at 8 times the cost.
